Both trackers are now in.  As reported earlier at SNIPPETS, Rasmussen has Obama up by one. He was up by two yesterday.

Gallup has Obama up two.  He was up one yesterday.

So the trackers are a wash.

The headline today is a Reuters/Zogby poll showing McCain up by five.  As of now, that's an outlier.  The key point in that survey is that the same poll showed Obama up seven in July.

I think that most pros will see this as a dead even race, not where Obama wanted to be.
